I am so incredibly grateful for Haywood Rd Animal Hospital. After our sweet little 10 week old kitten was injured in an accident, I sought out to find a vet. Having only been in South Carolina for a few short months, I didn’t have a vet, or the luxury of knowing which vet would be the best choice for us. I chose Haywood Rd only because I knew where it was, and I it worked out perfectly. We were scheduled very quickly and got little Emmy in to see Dr. Hilliard. Everyone we encountered in the office was beyond kind and courteous. They treated not only Emmy, but also my daughter and me with more love and care than I have ever experienced at an animal hospital before. Due to the nature of the injury and the expense that was involved in properly treating it, the staff made phone calls to area offices to see if anyone could treat her at a lower price, and looked into financing for us as well. We chose to stay with Dr. Hilliard to continue Emmy’s care, and have no interest or desire to go anywhere else. The office checked in on Emmy after each appointment, and took as much time as we needed to talk with us. It is very clear that the staff truly cares about their patients, and the humans that love them. Emmy has received top notch care, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Emmy is on the mend, and is heading toward a full recovery. Thank you Dr. Hilliard, and all of the staff that had a hand in Emmy’s care. I highly recommend Haywood Rd Animal Hospital for not only acute injuries/illnesses, but also for preventative care.
